And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Romans 10:15
For nearly a dozen years, Standing With Hope has shipped over hundreds of thousands of dollars of prosthetic supplies—including thousands of prosthetic feet, for our prosthetic limb ministry that Gracie envisioned following the amputation of her own legs.
Today, a new shipment heads over to Ghana, West Africa. Each pallet we send is marked with a scripture verse.
This pallet is inscribed with Romans 10:15.
It didn’t say that the “Feet” needed to be flesh and blood feet. Feet that bring the Gospel are indeed beautiful. Since launching our prosthetic limb recycling program, hundreds of used prosthetic limbs continue to pass through each year at our recycling center at a Tennessee prison. Many come with personal notes from family members of the owner of that prosthesis …family members who desire that the limb be put to good use.
We recycle all the usable parts, purchase new materials, and ship all of it to Ghana. Technicians there use these materials to build new limbs for their own people.
All of this is done to “…preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!”
We invite you to be a part of this unique ministry today, and welcome your help in equipping others to continue ….Standing With Hope.
