Multiple Dove© Award winner and Grammy© nominee, Gary Chapman, brought  his guitar, his humor, and his heart to my radio show, Caregivers With Hope, and shared his journey as a caregiver for his father who had Parkinson’s and then developed multiple myeloma. While a brutal and heartbreaking experience, Gary shares the beauty, insights, and the music and ministry that came from walk down the path of a caregiver.

Here’s a clip from the interview on Sunday’s show (1510 WLAC) featuring Gary singing “‘Tis So Sweet To Trust in Jesus”

Caregivers  …ALL caregivers ...struggle with isolation.  Grab a cup of coffee, sit down for a moment with two fellow caregivers, and listen to Gary and I share insights we’ve both learned as caregivers.

I realized, in those moments, “Good Grief-I’m not wanting to do this!”

And then the guilt accompanies the “I don’t really want to do this” and it’s an amazing “can-opening” of emotion.

Once you empty that can and sort through the pieces, that’s the beauty that comes out on the other side of this.  – Gary Chapman.

The CD SONGS FOR THE CAREGIVER is nearly finished!  Here’s a special preview of the new original tune written by Peter Rosenberger and Buddy Mondlock:  I CAN ONLY HOLD YOU NOW  released for Peter and Gracie on their 30th anniversary (8/16/2016)

Standing With Hope has two program areas:

Both of these programs have the single goal of equipping broken and hurting individuals to stand with hope in Jesus Christ.
