Gracie’s story of a broken body and broken lives triumphing over the ordinary and extraordinary challenges of life …will leave one in tears, sorrow, but ultimately rejoicing. As the senior United States’ service member to be wounded in Afghanistan, I’ve witnessed Peter’s and Gracie’s inspiring presence and powerful witness at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
