Cadet Candidate Grayson Rosenberger achieved international recognition when, at age 14, he won first place in Sealed Air Corporation’s first ever contest for young inventors to create a new use for Bubble Wrap. Astounding the contest judges, Grayson created a way to cover an artificial limb with the packing material …and with a flesh colored sock/hose, he fabricated a life-like cosmetic covering for artificial limbs so that amputees in developing countries can blend in more with their society. He’s gone on to be featured on CNN, The TODAY show, People Magazine, Channel One, BBC, and hundreds of other media interviews. Other awards have included the da Vinci apprentice award given to individuals/corporations for creating devices to help the disabled, and he was inducted into the National Museum of Education’s Young Inventors Hall of Fame. Grayson is attending the United States Military Academy Preparatory School at West Point .
